We are an academic research lab studying ocular neovascularization and immunology. We are investigating how ketone bodies regulate the immune system to suppress neovascularization, and identifying the bases for increased risk of blinding age-related macular degeneration (AMD) in females. We are also campaigning to raise awareness of the increased risks female patients unknowingly face.
